If you are in Midlothian and want to order a mix of sushi, Thai, or Chinese, this is a great option. My husband got egg foo young, I got three rolls of sushi. Everything was average, (egg rolls above average) but the fact that you can order entirely online, choose a pick up time, and even pay online is a huge plus. They also deliver within a 7-mile radius. All of these conveniences ensure that we shall return.

I'm writing this as I am just now finishing my fourth visit to Lin's Asian Bistro within the past two months. I have sat down and eaten there twice as well as ordered delivery once for dinner and once for lunch. I can honestly say this may be some of the best asian food I have had the experience of having, and the price tags are just as satisfying.I'll start with my visits where we sat down to eat as I think this is the best way to enjoy the restaurant but the food is just as good at home too. The inside is a little bit small but the interior is relaxing. I usually find it very quiet, with some calm music in the background and just all around comfortable seats with some dim mood lighting. The first time we went we got a couple plates to split including Pad Kee Mao (Which is drunken noodle) and tuna dinner combo(sushi). There was no hesitation or extra charge like some places will have for sharing meals, they simply brought out some extra serving plates for us and the food in a very timely manner - about twenty minutes. The food was fantastic and the sushi was extremely fresh. I've been to a lot of high end sushi places and this could compete with them at about a fifth of the price. The times we got delivery were just as satisfactory. About a twenty to thirty minute wait while again getting sushi, hot entrees, and appetizers all ready as if we were eating there. The only negative experience I have had with delivery was not receiving sweet & sour sauce with a order of sweet & sour chicken, however, we called them up and this was quickly fixed as we had our driver back at the door with it in 10 minutes.I'm not a food critic so I apologize if my review is a little bit sloppy. All I can say is to give this place a chance and you will be addicted. Plus sushi delivery is always a fantastic thing to have available

Here's why I don't give 5 stars if I've only eaten at a place one time. Just ordered a meal to be delivered. I ordered the shrimp egg roll again, the Philadelphia sushi roll again, a spicy tuna roll, fried rice, and The King and I shrimp and scallops dish. Time stamp on the online order said 5:53pm. Food shows up very promptly at 6:13. 20 minutes. About the same as my last order. But alas, no sushi rolls in the bag. So by 6:15 I was on the phone to the restaurant. The lady was very polite and I was too. She knew immediately why I was calling as soon as I told her my name. She said the sushi kitchen was separate from the main kitchen and the delivery boy had left without my sushi rolls because the chef hadn't finished it. She said she would get the delivery boy on the phone and have him get it to me. Ok. Not the end of the world. Just gets my courses out of order. Well at 6:36pm she calls backs and says that the delivery boy claims he gave me my sushi. I assured her that he did not and even checked the front porch, living room, and kitchen just to make sure I wasn't losing my mind. It hadn't been delivered. She then said that she would have it made. (Remember, on the first phone call she had said the chef hadn't finished making it.) It finally arrived at 6:53pm an hour after ordering. The big issue here is her return phone call claiming it had been delivered. Especially after implying that she knew it had been left! No matter how good the food is at a restaurant I won't revisit if it's dirty or if the service is poor. Her return phone call was poor service. I will give Lin's one one more visit before I make my final decision on this place.

I was very impressed. I can't give 5 stars since I've only eaten there once. I need more proof than that before I give away 5 stars to anyone. I ordered delivery via telephone. I had a somewhat difficult time communicating with the hostess (getting my address correct) but I am glad I didn't hang up. I have since learned that you can order on-line. Delivery took 22 minutes, half of the estimate given and the food arrived at the appropriate temperatures. Since this was my first try I didn't order too much. Just a sampling. I had the fried shrimp rolls (2) which were good but nothing spectacular. There's only so much I expect out of a fried roll anyway. Fried rolls are either good or bad. These were good. But the sushi (Philadelphia Roll) was as good as I've had anywhere and better than most in the Richmond area. Six pieces that were cut at least twice as large as most places around. I would have liked just a little more wasabi but I normally use more than most people I know. My entree was the Panang curry with shrimp. It ranks second only to a very similar dish I've had but that restaurant is 3000 miles away. It had plenty of large shrimp. Actually a few more than I expected. I'm always a little leery on quantity and quality when I order take out or delivery. It's too easy to shaft an "invisible" customer. But Lin's aced both. I'm looking forward to going in for a "sit down" meal soon. Lin's will be my "go to" restaurant for Asian delivery. I hope they don't prove me wrong but based upon my one experience they just may get my 5th star before long.
